Endo’s prior injury kept her sidelined for the entirety of the 2024 season and much of the 2025 season. She returned to play 10 matches for Angel City last year, registering one assist, with her first full 90-minute match since her previous injury occurring on July 3.

Reflecting on her return, she shared, “Honestly, my legs and my whole body were completely exhausted. But even so, winning feels amazing, and it reminded me how much I truly love soccer.”

Recently, Angel City had labeled Endo as “out” due to a knee injury, but the confirmation of the torn ACL only came nearly three weeks after the incident.
