Wrexham hero Paul Mullin to leave club upon mutual termination of contract

Paul Mullin is set to leave Wrexham AFC after five successful years, following a mutual termination of his contract.

Mullin found the net 110 times in 172 appearances for Wrexham and was honored as the club’s Player of the Season three times—a record achievement. The English striker joined the club on a free transfer in 2021 after leaving Cambridge United, during a time when Wrexham was competing in the National League.

He became one of the key players in the club’s resurgence following its acquisition by Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. In his debut season, Mullin scored an impressive 47 goals across all competitions, which played a crucial role in securing promotion to League Two.

The impact he made at Wrexham over these five years cannot be overlooked, with numerous memorable goals. He will always be remembered fondly by our fans.”

The 31-year-old leaves Wrexham as the ninth-highest goalscorer in the club’s history.
