Real Madrid sign forward Carlos Espí from Levante

Real Madrid has officially signed forward Carlos Espí from Levante on a five-year contract, the club announced on Thursday. The 21-year-old Spain youth international had an impressive season, netting 11 goals in LaLiga and earning accolades as the league’s best player under 23.

Spirited Transfer and Future Prospects

Earlier reports indicated that Madrid was pursuing Espí as a potential replacement for Gonzalo García, who is poised to join Fulham. In a statement, Real Madrid confirmed, “Real Madrid C.F. and Levante U.D. have agreed to the transfer of Carlos Espí, who will be tied to our club for the next five seasons, until June 30, 2031.”

Throughout his three seasons at Levante, Espí made 66 appearances and scored a total of 20 goals. With his talents, he will now compete alongside superstars such as Kylian Mbappé and Endrick under the guidance of new Madrid coach José Mourinho.
